Canadian Family Benefits Advisor was created after we experienced firsthand how difficult parental leave and benefits can be to navigate. When we started families of our own, we found ourselves trying to make sense of timelines, forms, eligibility rules, payment options, and decisions that suddenly felt urgent. What should have been straightforward often felt confusing and overwhelming. Worse, we came to realize that some of the information families rely on can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong.
